30 Project Dinners

Everyone eats. Everyone makes food choices and is a part of the food economy. We all vote and create the food cultures that we live in every day. And many of us don't think or talk about food very often at all.

We think if a group of engaged citizens (like you!) have a 30-person dinner where food is the reason for the gathering AND the topic of conversation, individuals will be able to find like-minded friends in their communities to help improve their local food systems. While we want to think long-term about enacting change across the global food system, the more local activists can push for better systems from the local up to the regional, the more we can recreate basic food distribution and consumption patterns.
